Each piece is made of stretchy semi-sheer mesh fabric—so this collection is not only a comfy lingerie alternative, but also a fashion statement. The Stained Glass pattern itself is so unique—each garment contains hundreds of little mosaic squares in different colors to make up the floral design.
This stained-glass style known as Art Deco became popular in Europe and the United States in the early 1900s, consisting of patterns formed with sharp angles and geometrical shapes. These unique shapes and distinct bold colors are very typical of this style, creating a unique aesthetic appeal on fabrics, canvas, and buildings.
Art Deco was influenced highly by contemporary artists of that time, especially by the abstract shapes and forms of the Cubist artists, such as Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque. Today, the Stained Glass collection is a perfect example of how these early artistic influences make their way into modern clothing design.
