Fremont is known as the Center of the Universe. It's the perfect place to shop and support amazing local businesses in Seattle. Our walkable neighborhood makes it easy to find the perfect gift for everyone on your list. Here is guide to our favorite places to shop in Fremont, and dine along the way. There have been a lot of shakeups in the neighborhood this year, so there are quite a few newcomers on our list here.

All of these are within a 2 block radius of Bellefleur! So make a day of it. Get out from behind your screen and shop all the amazing places in the Center of the Universe.

COFFEE

Dordlofva – This relatively new coffee shop that opened up in the old rug shop space is such a welcome addition to the block. Check out their cool espresso machine that is made in Seattle, and totally built-into the counter! Coffee, pastries, and more inspired by Scandinavian heritage.

FOOD

Made In House – Major shout-out to our next door neighbors, serving up absolutely delicious Korean food.

El Camino – A Fremont classic spot, with mouth-watering Mexican food, great margaritas, and moody vibes.

Triangle Spirits – Award Winning Fried Chicken. We need to say no more.

Every other restaurant and bar - We could honestly go on forever about the amazing food options in Fremont. There are about 12485674123 Thai restaurants (all are delicious), Lucky’s Pho, 19 Gold Taiwanese Restaurant, Dumpling Tzar (Pelmeni Russian dumplings), Red Star Taco Bar, and Shawn O’Donnell’s Irish Pub are all great choices.

BEAUTY

Eyes On Mebeauty salon - (home of their famous Russian Manicure) recently moved into the former Show Pony space right next door to Bellefleur. If you need a gift for someone who would love a manicure or lashes, a gift card to Eyes On Me would be a welcome addition to her stocking!

Love Lurra – Locally handmade and natural soaps and perfumes from a mother-daughter operation.

GIFTS

Portage Bay Goods – funny, and irreverent gifts and cards for everyone from kids to adults

Sfingday –Beautiful pottery and artful gifts for everyone, all from independent makers. In the last couple years they moved into the old Burnt Sugar space from across the street.

Yubec – Another newcomer! Shop selling gifts and apparel that benefits the In Indigenous peoples of the Pacific Northwest through the Daybreak Star Indian Cultural Center, and other programs of the United Indians of All Tribes Foundation. This used to be the Sfingday space but they moved, see above.

Dusty Strings – Gifts for the music lover. This store has been around longer than anyone else on this list. They have instrument related gifts. Music lessons would also be a great gift!

Vintage Mall – People always seem to find cool stuff for gifts here. From art, to music, to items for the home. What type of treasures will you discover?

Ophelia’s Books– Often confused with our address, because they are also 3504, but they are Fremont Avenue N, and Bellefleur is Fremont Place N. This is a new & used book store for the person who hates technology and loves the feel and experience of a book
